FAQ
Porcelain is a type of ceramic tile. The main difference is, porcelain tiles are fired at higher temperatures for a longer time than ceramic. This makes porcelain tiles more durable and denser – practically completely water-resistant. (≤ 0.5% water absorption can be classified as porcelain stoneware according to the EN). As a result, it guarantees excellent resistance to thermal fluctuations, to wear over time, and to chemical products and confers compactness to the tiles.
A porcelain tile is typically dense and impervious and as such, does not necessarily have to be sealed.
Lusso20 outdoor tiles are easy to maintain. Simply wash your tiles 2-3 times per year with a brush and warm soapy water, rinse, and leave to dry. Do not use harmful chemicals.
There are five different installation systems that can be used to lay Lusso20 tiles:
- LAYING ON GRAVEL
- LAYING ON SCREED
- LAYING ON GRASS
- LAYING ON SAND
- LAYING AS RAISED PAVING ON PEDESTAL ELEMEN
It is advisable to choose the most functional solution, depending on the area. If you would like to know more about the installation of 20mm porcelain tiles, please reach out to us for further information, we would be happy to help you.

If the tiles of your choice are in stock in our UK warehouse, we normally deliver in 3-5 working days.

Yes, you can specify a delivery date, in case your need is not immediate. We can hold the goods for up to 4 weeks allowing you to arrange a convenient delivery date.
We would however, like to bring to your notice that we tiles cannot be reserved without full payment first.
Due to insurance guidelines, our delivery personnel are instructed not to enter private residences. The recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made.
Our drivers are only obliged to deliver goods at the nearest safe point of entry to the property. This is known as the ‘kerbside’ that is accessible to them. The driver cannot help with handling tiles into or through your property, up or down stairs, ladders or onto scaffolding as per our insurance, health and safety policy guidelines. The delivery driver will also be unable to deliver onto inclined, graveled, grassed roads, or roads with hanging trees. We request you to inform us in advance, if you foresee any such access issues for us. This will help us arrive at the best solution for the delivery.
We can arrange a 7.5t vehicle which is small pallet delivery vehicle with a rear platform offload. The size of the vehicle could be likened to the size of a typical bin-truck. A 7.5t vehicle is likely to get access to your property as the most UK addresses are accessible by bin-trucks. However, if you still have concerns about the specific area of a tile delivery, please speak with one of our sales team members who will be able to discuss and arrange any specific requirements.
We send out free samples of the porcelain tiles to give you a general indication only of a texture, color, pattern and finish of the tile. Please note, that samples can be used as a guideline.
We always try and send tiles out from the same batch. However, we strongly recommend you to order allowing at least 15% extra in your measurements for off cuts, damages, wastage and for any unforeseen situation that may need you to change a couple of tiles in the future. There is always the possibility that when you re-order to complete the job, the new order may be from a different batch and in such cases, a mismatch is likely.
It is important that goods are examined at the time of the delivery. Any damages, shortages, incorrect items, or other discrepancies must be recorded on the delivery note. We need to be informed about discrepancies immediately. Please take photographs of the damaged items and forward it to us with a written statement of damages within 24 hours as this will enable us to investigate what caused the problem and to claim against the carrier.
Delivery note marked ‘unchecked’ or failure to record damage or installation will be deemed as acceptance and we will not accept any claim thereafter.
In manufacturing, a nominal size or trade size is a size ‘in name only’ used for identification. The nominal size may not match the actual dimension of the product. It stems from the actual size, which is rounded up to the nearest whole size.
